In this manual we tell you how to use the Sonera Viihde IPTV digibox with other service routers. Currently, Sonera Viihde comes bundled with the Inteno DG301AL which has serious problems with security and power.

We have found Mikrotik routers to work the best. Asus has a problem, that it can only display picture in 4:3 aspect ratio (with white borders).

There is a Finnish discussion thread on the Sonera forums about this matter. You can ask for help there in case this manual does not cover what you seek.

Yleiset asetukset

Sinun tulee määrittää seuraavat asetukset reitittimesi asetuksiin. Soneran IPTV vaatii että verkossa on multicast VLAN 252 (IPTV) ja normaali verkkoliikenne VLAN 1 (tallennukset ja ohjelmakirjasto).

Sonera Viihde IPTV kanavat tietokoneelle

Tämä vaatii siis reitittimen joka tulee Multicast:iä ja IGMP liikennettä. Toimii vain Soneran verkossa (toki tunnelilla toimii ulospäinkin).

Lataa ja asenna VLC Player. Kopio alla olevat osoitteet ja tallenna se iptv.m3u tiedostoksi. Avaa tiedosto VLC Player:illä.
